Who Am I To Write On Hysterectomy?

Dusko Savic here, the author of this site, “How to avoid hysterectomy!?” By trade, I am a numerical mathematician and computer programmer, have been into programming on and off since 1976. (You read that correctly, it’s more than 30 years by now.) In my youth, I was a keen tennis player, with beautiful strokes, but not with anything else needed to become a real champion.

I am not a medical doctor of any kind, so who am I to write on hysterectomy, the most dreaded and dreadful gynecological surgery that exists!? I am not on any kind of vengeance ego trip here, as so many women on the Internet who were screwed up by hysterectomy are. I just know many hysterectomies can be avoided, and I also know how it can be done and here is a convoluted story of how I reached that conclusion.
